Brandon has spent the last 20 years working at the intersection of policy, politics, and business to speed the deployment of energy storage. Brandon led development for Sovereign Energy Storage, where he originated and contracted more than 350 MWh of energy storage projects with various California utilities, the vast majority of which were developed in partnership with Enel Group. Brandon graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles Honors College with a B.A. in American politics.
Alex has 17+ years of experience starting new businesses and structuring deals in the energy industry. Prior to starting Plus Power, Alex was part of the team that built the energy storage development platform at NextEra Energy Resources. Before NextEra, Alex worked as a consultant and product manager in Asia. Alex graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in economics and Mandarin.
Naveen brings 20 years of experience across the energy and construction industries. Naveen previously held the role of chief procurement officer at Array Technologies Inc., where he led global sourcing and delivery of parts and products to projects worldwide.
Earlier in his career, Naveen held key roles in pre-construction, procurement, and construction at Cypress Creek Renewables, Canadian Solar, Recurrent Energy, SPG Solar, and BN Builders—building a strong foundation in project execution and operational strategy.
He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Madras, an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and an M.S. in engineering with a specialization in battery technologies from San Jose State University.
Josh Goldstein brings 20+ years of experience in finance, executive management, complex transactions, and capital markets to his role as Plus Power’s president and chief financial officer. Previously, he held the roles of CFO as well as chief operating officer and head of capital markets at 8minute Energy. During his time at 8minute Energy and before that, as senior vice president, finance & capital markets at Recurrent Energy, Josh built and led two industry-leading finance teams. Additionally, as a board director and executive at each company, Josh helped drive key strategic, development, operational, and organizational decisions. He has raised over $15 billion across all parts of the capital structure working on corporate financings, project financings, company- and project-level M&A, as well as public bond offerings.
Josh is recognized as an industry leader, having been named Project Finance and Risk’s Energy Finance Official of the Year and Borrower of the Year. He has also been nominated by Platts Global Energy Awards for the Rising Star and Deal of the Year Awards. Prior to his 16 years in energy project development, Josh was a public power banker at Morgan Stanley. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
Stacy brings more than 25 years of human resources and operations management experience. Prior to joining Plus Power, Stacy served as vice president of human resources for Clearway Energy Group and senior vice president of human resources and corporate operations for Recurrent Energy. At both companies, Stacy developed and led their strategic HR functions from scratch in support of rapid company growth. Stacy is also the president and founder of WinSquared HR, a consultancy and coaching practice helping companies to develop and optimize their people management practices and enhance their company cultures. At WinSquared, she supported the establishment and growth of other notable energy companies.
Prior to her 15 years in the energy industry, Stacy held various senior HR positions for Visa International and Cost Plus World Market. Stacy graduated with honors from California State University where she earned a B.S. in industrial psychology and a minor in human resources. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP) and is trained as a co-active coach.
Oscar has over 40 years of experience in renewable and traditional energy project development and origination as well as energy infrastructure experience in the interstate natural gas pipeline sector. Prior to his current role as Chief Advisor, he was President and Chief Development Officer of Plus Power.
Oscar is an energy leader, experienced in early start-up and realignment roles, focused on building and leading teams and implementing process, procedure, and rigor to scale project development and commercial initiatives in priority regions of the U.S. wholesale power markets. His earlier career posts included leadership roles at Southern Power, First Solar, BP, Duke Energy and Enron. He holds a B.S. in corporate finance from the University of Alabama.
Brian has more than 20 years of experience in the electric industry including project development, M&A, finance, EPC, and legal. Before joining Plus Power, Brian served in critical leadership roles at NextEra Energy in transmission development, renewables business management and legal. He also led a business unit at Pike Engineering focused on electric transmission and battery storage design and construction management. Prior to that, Brian was an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and he was an officer in the U.S. Army. Brian earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.S. in engineering management from the U.S. Military Academy, where he also lettered in track & field in shot put.
Molly has over a decade of experience in the energy sector, specializing in project development and techno-economic analysis of standalone battery storage systems. She managed the development of 640 MW of operational energy storage projects in ERCOT and WECC and supervised advanced-stage development of additional gigawatts of projects across the United States. She is currently applying her practical development expertise to lead the development department and strategically de-risk Plus Power’s project portfolio.
Molly is recognized for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to drive innovation in battery storage project development, fostering cross-functional teams that consistently deliver successful outcomes. Prior to helping build the development department at Plus Power, Molly was an energy storage sales engineer at Tesla, a project development associate at SolarCity, and a strategy and analytics analyst at the New York Stock Exchange. She holds a B.S. in environmental engineering from Yale University.
Genevieve has 10 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure space, with most of her career spent advising renewable energy developers, owners and operators. Prior to joining Plus Power, Genevieve advised developers, investors and lenders on over $15 billion of project and corporate financings. She spent six years as a project finance associate with Milbank LLP before moving in-house as the principal of finance and strategic transactions with Intersect Power and, later, as an associate general counsel with D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI).
Before practicing law, Genevieve earned her B.A. in international development studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a member of the Global Law Scholars and graduated Order of the Coif.
Lucas joined Plus Power in 2022 and has over 12 years of capital markets experience in the clean energy industry. Prior to joining Plus Power, he was vice president, finance & capital markets at Invenergy where he completed over $3B in capital raises and M&A transactions for Invenergy’s clean energy portfolio. He has extensive experience leading project debt, tax equity, and cash equity transactions for battery storage, natural gas, wind and solar assets across the United States, Mexico, Canada and the United Kingdom. Lucas holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago.
Mike Hopkins is a cleantech entrepreneur and thought leader in the fields of energy storage and hydrogen. He was a pioneer in thermal energy storage going back to 2004 when he co-founded and went on to lead Ice Energy. Mike started working with Plus Power in 2018 as its lead director and later joined the management team to build and lead Plus Power’s legal department. Prior to joining the Plus Power management team, Mike led Bakken Energy, which began life as a midstream natural gas company but was transformed by Mike into the leading developer of large-scale affordable hydrogen in the Midwest, partnered with the Three Affiliated Tribes. As a result of his work in hydrogen, Mike is a regular speaker at major energy conferences including U.S. Department of Energy events and CERAWeek. Mike also practiced law for 18 years as a partner with Bennett Jones LLP, a preeminent Canadian law firm recognized internationally as a leader in the field of energy.
Mike sits on various for-profit and not-for-profit boards, including the Committee for Economic Development of the Conference Board. He has served over 30 years as a volunteer leader of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, including 12 years as chairman of the Canadian affiliate. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts and a JD from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Arts in law and economics from the University of Miami, and a Master of business administration from the University of Alberta.
Chris brings more than 17 years of expertise in developing utility-scale solar systems, battery energy storage systems, and wind power assets across diverse U.S. energy markets. He specializes in strategic portfolio planning, environmental review and permitting, project origination and acquisition, and securing high-value contracts to build and optimize large-scale renewable and storage portfolios.
Before joining Plus Power, Chris led the development of integrated solar-plus-storage portfolios, successfully advancing and establishing assets in key markets including ERCOT, PJM, the Southeast, and CAISO. As an engineering consultant, he advised independent power producers, electric utilities, and major EPC firms through complex permitting processes and environmental discretionary reviews. Chris holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with majors in environmental science, economics, and international relations.
Ken McIntyre is the senior vice president of asset operations and performance for Plus Power, where he oversees the management and performance of all of Plus Power’s battery storage projects. Ken also fosters dynamic teaming and leads cross functional teams to address the successful integration, commercialization, and operation of energy storage assets across the United States.
Ken has 30 years of direct experience in the power industry as a grid operator, transmission planner, generation fleet manager, design engineer, consultant, regulator, and executive. He has been a member and chair of various industry boards and national committees.
Ken was the executive director at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), leading MISO’s ‘Operations of the Future’ and business digital transformation department. Prior to MISO, Ken had success as vice president and director of standards and compliance at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). In this role, Ken was a collaborative industry leader overseeing seven NERC Regional Entities and responsible for NERC Reliability and CIP standards development, implementation, and alignment of risk-based compliance and registration programs. Ken joined NERC following an extensive power engineering career in Australia at Powerlink Queensland, a transmission utility, and in Texas at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) where he served as the vice president of grid planning and operations, overseeing ERCOT’s grid transmission planning, generation resource adequacy, renewable integration, and real-time grid operation activities.
Ken earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering from the University of Southern Queensland and a master’s in business from Charles Sturt University.
Krys Mihulka has nine years of experience in renewable energy finance, with a focus on solar and energy storage project and corporate transactions. Prior to joining Plus Power, Krys worked at Intersect Power, where he supported the sale of 1.7 GW of solar projects as well as the company’s sale to a new investor. Earlier in his career, he worked in Citi’s Power and Utilities group, executing M&A and capital‑raising mandates across the energy sector. Krys holds a BA in finance and applied computational mathematics and statistics from the University of Notre Dame.
Edgar has over 25 years of procurement, design, and construction experience in the power industry. Prior to joining Plus Power, Edgar led various teams responsible for generation development of traditional and renewable energy projects including wind, solar, energy storage and hydrogen, as well as M&A of gas plants at Southern Power.
Edgar holds a Ph.D. in structural engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and an MBA from Samford University.
Bobby has close to 20 years of experience in renewable energy and has spent the last 12 years developing, building, and operating utility-scale standalone storage. Prior to joining Plus Power in 2018, Bobby was a director at Tesla where he led utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) efforts and implemented some of the most advanced BESS projects in the world. Bobby competed as a NCAA Division 1 swimmer at the University of Virginia prior to earning a B.S. in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder
Fernando has 17 years of experience in the energy sector and has been focused on energy storage since 2015. He is responsible for growing Plus Power’s portfolio by 7 GW and opened 7 new markets since 2020. Before joining Plus Power, Fernando led the sales efforts at Geli, an economic optimization platform for energy storage. Fernando grew the customer base nationally and internationally, which was pivotal for the acquisition of Geli by Hanwha Q-Cells in 2020. Before Geli, Fernando worked at NextEra, focused on the origination of transactions with Fortune 500 companies, bundling solar, wind, and storage technologies. Fernando has a B.S. in physics from the National University in Mexico and a master’s degree in energy science and technology, specialized in energy storage, from the ETH Zürich.
Allyson brings 14 years of project development, acquisition, and leadership experience in the renewable energy industry. Prior to joining Plus Power, Allyson led the development of over 500 MW of utility-scale wind energy projects across SPP, PJM, and MISO, and most recently played a key role in evaluating and closing over 1 GW of strategic wind and solar acquisition deals at Invenergy, the largest privately held renewable energy company in the country.
Allyson joined Plus Power in 2019 to lead development and permitting for projects located in ISO-NE and NYISO markets. She developed 325 MW of Plus Power’s earliest energy storage projects in ISO-NE, both of which are now under construction. After two years as chief of staff driving internal process improvements and strategic initiatives, Allyson now serves as chief administrative officer, leading efforts like company goal setting, overseeing internal communications and corporate operations, managing key reporting, and supporting strategic planning and cross-team alignment. Allyson graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Oklahoma where she earned a B.B.A. in energy management.
Polly has over 30 years of energy policy and communications experience in the U.S. and China and serves as Plus Power’s chief external relations officer. Over her career, Polly’s teams have helped win widespread regulatory and legislative policies that created vibrant U.S. energy efficiency and energy storage markets. Over the past 14 years, she has helped shape the national communications narratives on the evolution of energy markets and grids, and the value of battery storage.
Her earlier career posts include senior executive at Stem, regulatory program manager, and foundation grantmaker. She holds a B.A. from Tufts University and a certificate in Chinese law from the University of London.
Rosemary is a seasoned accounting executive with over 23 years of experience, including over two decades in the renewable energy sector. She leads the company’s controllership, financial reporting, and accounting policy, driving scalable processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP standards, and delivering reliable financial reporting across all project phases.
Before joining Plus Power, Rosemary held senior roles at Wells Fargo, MMA Renewable Ventures, Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, SunEdison, and Radian Generation, managing U.S. GAAP accounting and IFRS for large renewable portfolios. She began her career as an auditor at Deloitte and is a licensed CPA in California with a B.S. in accounting from San Francisco State University.
Vijay Singh is the senior vice president of origination & commercial at Plus Power, responsible for leading the origination, M&A, and market analytics teams. Vijay brings nearly 20 years of cross-functional experience in the energy industry across a variety of disciplines, including legal, M&A, and finance.
Prior to joining Plus Power, Vijay was a senior attorney for NextEra Energy. He also held roles at leading global law firms Skadden Arps and Latham & Watkins. Vijay earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.S. in finance & accounting from the University of Minnesota.
